Core Capabilities

Three essential utilities. Zero wasted cycles.

Precision Hardware Telemetry

CPU, memory, GPU, network, and temperature, plus disk throughput on the Disk Activity page. The menu bar starts with CPU and RAM. Any sensor can show a label, a value, or both, and the order can be changed. The CPU page charts each core. A sensor with no reading stays off the menu bar. Temperature comes from HID. Frame rate and package energy come from IOReport. GPU percent comes from IOAccelerator.

Intelligent Sleep Prevention

The menu bar cup holds the Mac awake. Click it to start or stop. Right-click for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or until you stop it. On battery, the session stops at the cutoff. That cutoff starts at 20% and can be set from 5% to 50%. The display stays awake unless you turn on “Allow the display to sleep.”

Visual disk space

Open a folder and see how large each item is, then move a selection to the Trash after a confirmation sheet. The drive root, the data volume, /Users, and your home folder cannot be trashed from this list. Shortcuts open Home, Xcode DerivedData, your Caches folder, Downloads, and the first developer folder that exists.

What it does while it runs

Native Swift 6. No web view, no bundled frameworks, no launch daemon, and no kernel extension. With only the menu bar showing, it samples about every 5 seconds. With the popover or the window open, it samples about every 1.5 seconds. It skips samples while the display is asleep. Chart history covers about 8 minutes. Under memory pressure it keeps the latest point.

No tracking. Offline unless you turn on public IP.

Your system metrics belong solely on your Mac. KeepStat contains zero tracking SDKs, no analytics daemons, no advertising frameworks, and no background network calls. All sensor polling, disk scans, and hardware identifiers remain strictly on-device.

Turn on public IP and KeepStat asks api.ipify.org for this Mac’s address. It shows the reply only when that reply is an IP address. Turn the switch off and the address is cleared. A failed lookup can run again the next time the Network page or the popover asks for it. No other part of the app contacts the network.
